Vinted Members Share Anger Over Size Modifications
Members of the platform have expressed outrage after an update resulted in listings displaying inaccurate size information.
This online marketplace has updated its size classifications for female and kids' apparel failing to inform every member regarding the update.

Numerous buyers and vendors are expressing on platforms saying Vinted listings now show a modified sizing category compared to what was initially listed as a result of the reclassification.
The platform stated the revised method more closely matches similar services.
The platform has recommended to review their products and update the measurements by hand if necessary, which has left users frustrated.
Size Classification Modifications
Earlier, the measurements included numerical and alphabetical indicators, such as S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes an alphabetical indicator and numerical range like S/UK 8-10.
In some cases, the size labels have been reassigned - such as a large size used to be a 12 but now shows as UK 16-18.
User Stories
A fashion influencer, who creates plus-size fashion videos, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
Stephanie Gallen, from Glasgow, stated items she posted featuring size 14 markings were showing in the marketplace as larger sizing 20-22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they will likely be quite upset," she stated.
Required Changes
A different user, located in England, explained she became annoyed because the modification necessitated personal updates the sizes on "every single listing".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, as I'm chronically ill and selling on Vinted has been paramount after experiencing income reduction," she explained.

The platform boasts over 100 million shoppers, with 18 million British users.
It has become a favored option versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
This isn't the first time where an unanticipated change within the service has received backlash: earlier, the platform withdrew an update concerning shipment methods after backlash from users.
