The Music Icon Plays a Twisted Persona of Herself in Fictional Documentary Teaser

Charli XCX is gearing up for a substantial big screen presence in 2026, kicking off with the satirical film titled The Moment.

In the film, Charli embodies what she describes as a hell version of her public image.

It’s the most authentic portrayal of the entertainment world that I’ve ever encountered, the performer remarked.

She clarified in a discussion: It’s far from a live performance documentary, yet the concept came from the expectation to produce one.

A Sneak Peek into The Film

The initial preview, unveiled on this week, mixes actual recordings from Charli’s Sweat tour with fictionalized behind-the-scenes moments.

The Moment is overseen and co-authored by Aidan Zamiri, who revealed that the narrative centers on a reality where the artist took completely different paths during the marketing of her hugely successful record Brat.
