Helicopter Spirals Out of Control into Palm Groves at Well-Known California Beach
An aircraft hovering near a crowded California shoreline suddenly commenced twirling uncontrollably, eventually dropping height and crashing into a row of palm trees as beachgoers observed.
Videos posted on social media show the chopper starting to spin near Huntington Beach then plunging near the perimeter of the coast, where it becomes wedged between palm trees and a steps close to the coastal road.
Rescue Operation Details
Emergency responders stated five individuals were transported to a medical facility comprising a pair who were in the helicopter and were “extracted safely from the crash site” subsequent to the incident on Saturday.
Three individuals on the street were harmed. Information on their condition were not immediately available.
The cause of the crash was not immediately released.
